00:00:00

Greetings from cyberdelic space.

00:00:19

This is Lorenzo, and I’m your host here in the Psychedelic Salon.

00:00:24

And today we’re going to hear something a little different.

00:00:27

The announcement of the Worldwide Wave of Action, or as I like to think of it, Occupy 2.0.

00:00:35

And for our fellow salonners who never fully grasped what took place during Occupy 1.0,

00:00:41

well, never fear, I’m not going to completely turn these podcasts over to

00:00:46

talking about the wave of action. I’m just going to insert a few extra podcasts during the next

00:00:52

three months or so to sort of augment some of the other things that we talk about here in the salon,

00:00:58

which, by the way, in my next podcast will once again feature a new Terrence McKenna talk.

00:01:03

But first, I think you should at least know about what is just now getting underway.

00:01:08

As you may already know, the worldwide wave of action begins April 4th

00:01:14

and runs through July 4th, 2014.

00:01:18

During this three-month cycle, people throughout the world will be protesting corruption,

00:01:23

rallying around solutions, and taking part in alternative systems.

00:01:28

The new paradigm will be on full display.

00:01:31

Studies have actually proven that it only takes 3.5% of the population taking non-violent action to create meaningful and positive change.

00:01:41

and positive change.

00:01:45

And the worldwide wave gives all of us who want to change a powerful opportunity to make it happen

00:01:48

and move society forward just a little bit more.

00:01:51

On April 4th, there will be launch celebrations

00:01:54

at hundreds of former Occupy locations globally.

00:01:58

And we’ll gather to honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy

00:02:02

of nonviolent action and spend the day connecting with allies

00:02:05

and strategizing spring action campaigns.

00:02:09

This crowdsourced campaign will become what you,

00:02:12

the people, make of it.

00:02:13

Self-organizing and organically evolving.

00:02:16

A new culture will emerge.

00:02:19

And that’s from the front page of waveofaction.org,

00:02:23

a website I heartily recommend you go take a look at.

00:02:27

In fact, right now I’m going to play the soundtracks from several videos that you can find at waveofaction.org.

00:02:34

And hopefully you’ll go to that website and also watch the videos that these soundtracks go with.

00:02:40

They’re all really superb.

00:02:47

with. They’re all really superb, and in fact, the video images that accompany the words and music that we’re about to hear are even more powerful than the words alone. You really owe it to yourself

00:02:53

to check them out on your own. But for now, let’s listen to a few thoughts about what’s going to

00:02:59

take place over the next few months, and let’s see if you can identify who some of these speakers are.

00:03:06

I think that you’ll be able to recognize most of them.

00:03:11

Can you hear me?

00:03:13

Wherever you are,

00:03:16

look up, Hannah.

00:03:18

The clouds are lifting.

00:03:20

The sun is breaking through.

00:03:23

We are coming out of the darkness into the light.

00:03:26

We are coming into a new world.

00:03:29

A kindly world.

00:03:31

Where men will rise above their hate, their greed, and brutality.

00:03:37

Look up, Hannah.

00:03:38

The soul of man has been given wings.

00:03:41

And at last he is beginning to fly.

00:03:44

He is flying into the rainbow into the

00:03:47

light of hope into the future the glorious future that belongs to you to me and to all of us

00:03:57

look up Thank you. So what are you most passionate about?

00:04:35

What are you doing to be the change?

00:04:38

Whatever it is, passionately be it.

00:04:41

In public this spring.

00:04:44

Get together with like-minded friends and have fun with it.

00:04:47

Where we have power in numbers, united we are unstoppable.

00:04:52

Our time has come.

00:04:59

I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor.

00:05:03

That’s not my business.

00:05:05

I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible.

00:05:10

Jew, Gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that.

00:05:18

In this world there’s room for everyone and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone.

00:05:24

The way of life can be free and beautiful.

00:05:27

But we have lost the way.

00:05:28

Greed has poisoned men’s souls.

00:05:31

Has barricaded the world with hate.

00:05:34

We think too much and feel too little.

00:05:37

We think too much and feel too little.

00:05:40

More than machinery, we need humanity.

00:05:43

More than cleverness, we need kindness.

00:05:46

Without these qualities, life would be violent.

00:05:49

No one will be lost.

00:05:52

Do not despair.

00:05:53

The hate of men will pass.

00:05:55

And dictators die.

00:05:58

And the power they took from the people

00:06:00

will return to the people.

00:06:03

Let us all unite.

00:06:05

Let us fight for a new world to do away with greed.

00:06:10

Now let us fight to free the world.

00:06:13

To fulfill that promise.

00:06:15

Let us all unite.

00:06:20

You the people have the power to make this life free and beautiful.

00:06:25

Let us use that power to make this life a wonderful adventure.

00:06:31

Let us all unite.

00:06:33

Let us fight for a new world to do away with greed.

00:06:37

Now let us fight to free the world, to fulfill that promise.

00:06:43

Let us all unite.

00:06:44

Let us fight for a new world

00:06:47

To do away with greed

00:06:48

A world where science and progress

00:06:51

Will lead to all men’s happiness

00:06:54

Do not despair

00:06:56

The hate of men will pass

00:06:58

And dictators die

00:07:00

And the power they took from the people

00:07:03

Will return to the people.

00:07:07

Let us all unite!

00:07:11

Unite!

00:07:13

The time is now. These movements are already occurring. It’s happening everywhere.

00:07:17

We’re in a time where communication is instantaneous and there are communities all over the world.

00:07:21

The Occupy movement made a difference, even if only in that it introduced to the popular public lexicon the idea of the 1% versus the 99%.

00:07:29

People for the first time in a generation are aware of massive corporate and economic

00:07:34

exploitation. These things are not nonsense and these subjects are not being addressed.

00:07:39

As long as people are empowered with information, if people are unified, if people have a common

00:07:44

understanding and are prepared to look at what we share, what unifies us instead of what separates us, then the people are invincible.

00:07:52

This is the irrefutable truth of the latest pyramid structures, is when the people are awake, it is impossible to maintain.

00:07:59

It’s because when the people decide this is over now, then it is over now.

00:08:02

The important thing is to have this central tenetet of your being love, compassion and tolerance.

00:08:07

Everyone knows that.

00:08:08

I think that we need to see politics as the implementation of spiritual principles of oneness, togetherness, tolerance of one another and making sure that people are taken care of.

00:08:17

Someone said, I think it might be Prabhupada, that a cave could have been in darkness for 10,000 years, but as soon as the light is put on, as soon as a match is struck, the light is there.

00:08:25

So the light is coming.

00:08:26

There’s going to be a revolution.

00:08:27

It’s totally going to happen.

00:08:29

I ain’t got a flicker of doubt.

00:08:32

This is the end.

00:08:33

This is time to wake up.

00:08:36

It’s like a ride at an amusement park.

00:08:38

And when you choose to go on it,

00:08:39

you think it’s real

00:08:40

because that’s how powerful our minds are.

00:08:42

The ride goes up and down and round and round.

00:08:44

It has thrills and chills and it’s very brightly colored and it’s very

00:08:47

loud. And it’s fun for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time. They

00:08:53

begin to question, is this real or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered

00:08:57

and they come back to us and they say, hey, don’t worry, don’t be afraid. It’s just a

00:09:02

ride. And we can change it any time we want.

00:09:06

It’s only a choice.

00:09:07

No effort. No work. No job.

00:09:09

No savings of money.

00:09:10

A choice right now between fear and love.

00:09:14

The eyes of fear, I want you to put bigger locks on your door.

00:09:18

Buy guns. Close yourself off.

00:09:19

The eyes of love, instead, see all of us as one.

00:09:23

Here’s what we can do to change the world right now,

00:09:25

to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defense each year and instead spend it

00:09:31

feeding, clothing, educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being

00:09:35

excluded. Now if that isn’t a hazard to this country, how are we going to keep building nuclear weapons? You know what I mean?

00:09:47

What’s going to happen

00:09:48

to the arms industry

00:09:49

when we realize we’re all one?

00:09:52

It’s going to fuck up the economy.

00:09:54

The economy that’s

00:09:56

fake anyway. The economy that’s

00:09:58

fake anyway. It’s just a rhyme And we can change it any time we want It’s only a choice

00:10:06

Between fear and love

00:10:07

The tide goes up and down, round and round

00:10:10

It has thrills and chills

00:10:12

And it’s very brightly colored

00:10:14

It’s up and down, round and round

00:10:16

And it’s very loud

00:10:17

Don’t worry, don’t be afraid

00:10:21

It’s just a rhyme

00:10:23

And we can change it any time we want.

00:10:26

It’s only a choice.

00:10:28

It’s made of pure love.

00:10:36

This is an open letter to you.

00:10:38

Yeah, to you.

00:10:39

No matter if you received this because you subscribed to Akron TV on YouTube

00:10:43

or a friend sent it to you on Facebook,

00:10:45

or maybe you tried to click through that hyperlink of that slideshow, that thing,

00:10:48

but instead you slipped through some cyberspace portal and here you are.

00:10:52

You’ve never seen an Akron TV before, but it doesn’t matter.

00:10:54

This video is addressed to you and a response on your part is required.

00:11:00

We are in a historic moment where a new cultural, political, and ecological reality must emerge and replace the dominant paradigm.

00:11:07

The planet itself, to say nothing of the overwhelming majority of human beings, can no longer live with this killer global corporate capitalism in our midst.

00:11:18

And while change may happen too slow or seem impossible to achieve for those of us in the struggle now, history is going to look back on this period as but a moment.

00:11:28

And research of hundreds of resistance movements shows that no resistant movement in the last

00:11:33

100 years has failed when 3.5% of the population participate and the ideas have popular support.

00:11:41

Our ideas have popular support, so how closer are we to that 3.5% tipping point?

00:11:46

You might be closer than you think. You are cordially invited, challenged even, to become

00:11:51

one of the 3.5% to commit to an action or actions starting April 4th, 2014 against the

00:11:57

corporate controlled state and its paradigm that now preys on the resources and spirits

00:12:02

of the people. Your actions and the

00:12:05

actions of others will become a ripple that crisscross with other ripples, each coming from

00:12:10

their own centers of daring. These ripples can build a current that can wipe out the mightiest

00:12:15

walls of oppression and resistance. Okay, so Robert F. Kennedy said that. They killed him.

00:12:22

So it goes. You know who else they killed? Martin

00:12:25

Luther King Jr. You think they killed him because he had a dream? No, they put him on a stamp because

00:12:30

he had a dream. They killed him, neutered him, and packaged him up all nice and delivered a version

00:12:36

of him to your children’s history books that omits the really dangerous ideas he was proposing like

00:12:42

a guaranteed income for all. King, you see, was ready to wage a war

00:12:47

on poverty, and today we have the reverse. We have a war on the poor. It’s perhaps for that reason

00:12:53

that the recent call for a crowdsourced worldwide wave of action put forth by Anonymous suggests a

00:12:59

three-month span beginning on or around April 4, 2014, which is the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s

00:13:05

assassination. Now, the naysayers and the propagandists are going to be quick to dismiss

00:13:09

the next fissure that erupts through the facade by saying that we are not focused enough, by saying

00:13:14

that we have no one central demand. What is your demand? As the call from Anonymous states,

00:13:21

throughout history, when people have fought against tyranny and oppression,

00:13:25

they didn’t have one perfect utopian model outcome agreed upon beforehand.

00:13:30

They just knew that the invading and old systems were detrimental to their well-being and had to go.

00:13:37

We are now in that position.

00:13:39

You are now in that position.

00:13:42

Leverage it.

00:13:43

Become one of the 3.5 percent.

00:13:59

This is your moment of clarity from LeeCamp.net. What if Occupy was just the beginning?

00:14:05

What if Occupy was just a wake-up call for many actions that are yet to come?

00:14:10

You know, in the same way Rosa Parks on the bus was just a strike point for a much larger movement.

00:14:15

Or the way Billy Ray Cyrus’ father created a multi-generational chain of shitloadian.

00:14:21

Like he built some sort of cultural blender that we’re all

00:14:25

helpless to turn off. Maybe Occupy wasn’t meant to achieve the end goal. Maybe he was meant to

00:14:31

simply be the bat symbol in the sky. You know, I had a teacher in high school who everyone loved,

00:14:37

but one day she saw a kid sleeping in her class and she sprayed him with a fire extinguisher. She got fired. But I bet that kid never fell asleep in class again.

00:14:48

Maybe Occupy was our fire extinguisher.

00:14:51

So now it’s time to move on to the next phase.

00:14:54

I want to tell you about a crowdsourced global wave of action

00:14:57

that can’t be pepper sprayed, arrested, or chained.

00:15:00

It can’t be molested, suppressed, or arraigned.

00:15:02

It is very different from Occupy.

00:15:03

And if even a small percentage of the world population participates, it’s unstoppable.

00:15:08

So that means 96.5% of the world can continue to sit around scratching their balls

00:15:13

and writing Yelp reviews for gas stations.

00:15:16

It only takes 3.5%.

00:15:18

And I didn’t make up that number.

00:15:20

Studies of successful movements show that 3.5% is all it takes. It’s been termed the

00:15:26

worldwide wave of action, and it could be the first global guerrilla multi-pronged non-violent

00:15:31

attack against all the corrupt targets, destroying the possibility of a sustainable world. Well,

00:15:37

the second if you count the Harlem Shake. But I don’t. And you get to pick your own target.

00:15:46

Whether you care most about stopping fracking, labeling GMOs, breaking up the big banks,

00:15:51

getting money out of politics, encouraging green energy, or halting the rise of neckbeards.

00:15:56

The worldwide wave of action starts on April 4th and goes until July 4th.

00:16:01

And the planning is going on right now.

00:16:03

What type of non-violent action

00:16:05

does it consist of? I’m glad you asked. Number one, mass gatherings, flash mobs. This could

00:16:10

range from a protest march to… Number two, worker strikes, hunger strikes, sit-ins. Remember

00:16:18

those autoworkers in Colombia sewed their mouths shut as a form of protest? You could do that, for example. I would be right there with you.

00:16:26

Except I’m allergic to thread. This shirt is made of drywall. Number three, shutting down

00:16:35

corporate and governmental operations. Number four, strategic defaults, debt strikes, foreclosure

00:16:41

prevention, boycotting corrupt corporations, moving their money out of the big banks.

00:16:46

You see, when the big banks and the corporations fear for their money, they flip the fuck out.

00:16:52

They go crazier than Charlie Sheen on a bender with a proton pack crossing the streams.

00:16:57

Crazier than a drunk Viking on tax day finding out raping and pillaging can’t be written off as a business expense.

00:17:04

Finding out raping and pillaging can’t be written off as a business expense.

00:17:07

Crazier than a Goldman Sachs employee on tax day.

00:17:11

Finding out raping and pillaging can’t be written off as a business expense.

00:17:15

Number five, using alternative currencies and economic systems.

00:17:20

This could be anything from bartering to wife swapping to husband swapping to hamster swapping.

00:17:22

You seen that reality show Hamster Swap?

00:17:24

It’s fucking nuts.

00:17:25

Two families trade hamsters,

00:17:33

and then hilarity and drama ensues. Or you could use a website like tradeja.com, where no money is exchanged, only your stuff. You just say, hey, I’ll give you a copy of Grand Theft Auto 5 if you teach

00:17:39

me how to do that Mr. Roboto thing. Boom. No imaginary fake wealth pieces of paper change hands. No taxes are paid

00:17:46

because it would be weird for the IRS to be like, you owe us 10% of your Mr. Roboto dance.

00:17:52

And then you’re like, okay, I’ll give you just the arm swing part.

00:17:58

Leaking info on corruption and committing online civil disobedience. This can take a lot of forms.

00:18:04

One of my favorites

00:18:05

is rebranding a company, or free branding, as I’ve termed it, because everything needs a stupid term.

00:18:11

Ass jiggling is called twerking, a self-photo is a selfie, corporate employees are called congressmen,

00:18:17

and vapid comedic nothingness, emptier than Tori Spelling’s head on whippets, it’s called a late

00:18:21

night show. Free branding is taking something like Bank of America and getting everybody to associate it with something else like highway robbery.

00:18:29

Maybe we can all use hashtag B of A to mean bent over fucked in ass or something more crude. I’m

00:18:39

off my game today. And those are just a few of the activities we should all take part in for the worldwide wave of action starting April 4th. Go to waveofaction.org to learn more. I’m gonna have

00:18:50

to come back in a future episode and give you more of the list. Will something like this make

00:18:54

a difference? Nothing makes a difference until it does. That’s been your moment of clarity from

00:19:00

LeeCamp.net. The music here at the end is This Machine by Chris Sagan.

00:19:06

His link is in the description. Keep fighting. Just let me be a Steve Revolution now Oh, let me

00:19:25

We have also come to this hallowed spot

00:19:30

to remind America of the fierce urgency of now.

00:19:38

This is no time

00:19:39

to engage in the luxury of cooling off

00:19:44

or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.

00:19:48

It would be fatal for the nation

00:19:50

to overlook the urgency of the moment.

00:19:56

The whirlwinds of revolt will continue

00:19:59

to shake the foundations of our nation

00:20:01

until the bright day of justice emerges.

00:20:06

I am happy to join with you today, to join with you today, in what will go down in history

00:20:18

as the greatest demonstration for freedom, greatest demonstration for freedom. Greatest demonstration for freedom.

00:20:28

On the anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, April 4th, 2014, the spirit of MLK will rise again.

00:20:38

We will engage a worldwide wave of action.

00:20:40

From every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, from every mountainside, let freedom ring. of action.

00:20:49

We will, let freedom ring.

00:20:52

Anonymous, Occupy and the 99% movement have set up the dominoes for an unprecedented worldwide

00:20:59

wave of action.

00:21:00

The tipping point is near.

00:21:03

We are calling on all Anons, Non-Anons, Collectives, Organizations and conscious individuals to take autonomous non-violent direct action throughout the global spring.

00:21:30

For a sustained three-month cycle we will swarm corrupt targets and rally around solutions to the vast problems we are confronted by.

00:21:36

This time we will not have stationary targets for the police state to crush.

00:21:39

We will be everywhere, fluid and evasive.

00:21:46

The movement will be an unstoppable crowdsourced, decentralized and autonomous revolutionary force.

00:21:49

You lead, in your own way.

00:21:56

Engage in a diversity of non-violent tactics, from large-scale mobilizations to small daily acts,

00:22:00

knowing that millions of people throughout the world will also be engaged,

00:22:03

at the same time you are, in whatever way they can.

00:22:07

Without revealing too much strategic information,

00:22:12

here are some action ideas to get a fire going in your mind.

00:22:17

You know what you can do to play a part.

00:22:20

Do whatever you feel inspired to do.

00:22:22

Amplify what you are already doing.

00:22:27

Think about what you are willing to do to be the change that we urgently need to see in the world, and then do it.

00:22:31

Don’t get locked down in inviting and caught up in negativity.

00:22:34

Ignore the saboteurs.

00:22:37

Collaborate with people who inspire you.

00:22:39

Keep moving forward with an indomitable will, a compassionate spirit and radiating positive attitude.

00:22:46

Moves are contagious.

00:22:48

Be passionate and have fun.

00:22:50

Create a culture of transformation.

00:22:53

If we begin preparing now,

00:22:56

a massive spring offensive will lead to a summer of transformation,

00:23:01

a fall of the empire, and the birth of a new era.

00:23:04

Transformation, a fall of the empire, and the birth of a new era.

00:23:10

United we will blaze a contagious non-violent wave of action through mass consciousness.

00:23:13

United we will signal the end of the old world.

00:23:16

United we will usher in a new paradigm.

00:23:20

Ride the worldwide wave of transformation. Make justice a reality.

00:23:22

From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

00:23:26

And from every city, to every hamlet, from every state, and every city, now is the time.

00:23:34

I am happy to join with you today, to join with you today, in what will go down in history

00:23:45

as the greatest

00:23:48

demonstration

00:23:49

for freedom

00:23:50

greatest demonstration

00:23:52

for freedom

00:23:53

now is the time

00:23:55

to make justice

00:23:59

a reality

00:24:00

now is the time to make justice a reality. I said, empty your mind. Be formless,

00:24:22

shapeless, like water.

00:24:29

Now, you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup.

00:24:31

You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle.

00:24:34

You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash.

00:24:39

Be water, my friend. life. The world is a dangerous place.

00:25:13

At the National Security Agency, we uncover secrets.

00:25:17

That is why NSA…

00:25:19

You spy on us.

00:25:22

You collect our conversations.

00:25:31

What we write. What we read, our likes, dislikes.

00:25:35

You know everything you need to know to take away our freedom.

00:25:40

Anybody who has that moral independence to defy the state as a target,

00:25:45

any information that challenges the official narrative can put them in prison.

00:25:53

They are terrified of hackers and they are going after them because they have tools to expose Empire for what it is and how rotten it is, because it is completely rotten.

00:26:02

Look, I was going to go easy on you, not to hurt your feelings, but…

00:26:06

I’m only going to get this one chance.

00:26:10

Something’s wrong. I can feel it.

00:26:12

It’s just a feeling I’ve got.

00:26:15

Like something’s about to happen, but I don’t know why.

00:26:18

If that means what I think it means, we’re in trouble.

00:26:21

Big trouble.

00:26:22

And it is bananas, as you say.

00:26:24

I’m not taking any chances.

00:26:25

You just want the time, boy.

00:26:27

Like something’s about to happen.

00:26:41

Everything’s corrupt.

00:26:43

Everything’s fucked up.

00:26:47

Everything’s by our buck. We shit out of luck. Everything’s corrupt, everything’s fucked up Everything’s by the fuck, we shit out of luck Everything’s corrupt, everything’s fucked up

00:26:50

Everything’s by the fuck, we shit out of luck

00:26:53

I’m sick of getting ignored, this world I can’t afford

00:26:56

For my birthday, buy me a politician

00:26:59

It’s a shame that you got to teach the children

00:27:03

Everything’s corrupt, everything’s fucked up

00:27:06

Everything’s bottom-up, new shit out of luck

00:27:09

It’s a wall of confusion

00:27:11

Brainwashed media and puppet politicians

00:27:14

Keep you out of position, out of commission

00:27:17

Buy medicine or food, that’s not a decision

00:27:20

The 99% is mad and trying to vent

00:27:23

All my people, all my people,

00:27:25

all my people should not be woken

00:27:27

from the walking dead, but I’m just a talking head

00:27:30

a zombie floating.

00:27:31

My honesty’s brutal, but it’s honestly

00:27:33

futile if I don’t utilize what I do

00:27:36

though for good at least once in a while, so I wanna

00:27:37

make sure somewhere in the chicken scratch I scribble and do

00:27:39

them enough rhymes to maybe try to help get

00:27:41

some people through tough times. See if I

00:27:43

get away with it now that I ain’t as big as I was but but I’m morphing into an immortal, coming through the portal.

00:27:49

You’re stuck in a time war from 2004, and I don’t know what the fuck that you line for.

00:27:53

You’re pointless as Rapunzel with fucking cornrows.

00:27:56

You write normal for being normal.

00:27:58

I’m a dumb, I’m a dumb, I’m a you, assuming I’m a human.

00:27:59

What I gotta do to get it through to you?

00:28:01

I’m superhuman, innovative, and I made it proper.

00:28:02

So that anything you say is because you’re off on me and into gloom.

00:28:04

You are devastating more than ever demonstrating. How to give a motherfucking audience a feeling like it’s levitating, never fading.

00:28:08

And I know the haters are forever waiting for the day to think and say I fell off to be celebrating.

00:28:11

Cause I know the way to get them motivated.

00:28:12

I make elevating music.

00:28:13

You make elevator music.

00:28:14

Oh, he’s too mainstream.

00:28:15

Well, that’s what they do in Naked Dallas.

00:28:17

They can fuse it.

00:28:17

It’s not hip hop.

00:28:18

It’s pop.

00:28:19

Cause I found a hell of a way to fuse it.

00:28:21

But in my head, there’s something I can feel.

00:28:23

Tugging and struggling.

00:28:24

Angels fight with devils. And here’s what they want from me

00:28:27

Many of your people, Justin Bieber

00:28:29

Has been arrested on a number of charges

00:28:31

But fuck it

00:28:32

I’m beginning to feel ambiton

00:29:06

I’m never gonna run away Outro Music The town got restrained So the train Get the fuck out of my way Running in my guts I take my time

00:29:07

Running up the spice in my veins

00:29:09

Here are new questions about

00:29:11

the National Security Agency’s

00:29:12

massive spy center under construction

00:29:14

in the desert of Utah.

00:29:16

Once finished,

00:29:17

it’ll be five times the size

00:29:19

of the U.S. Capitol building.

00:29:20

We are the ones reaching out in vain

00:29:24

Trying to solve our problems They won’t go away little deal here. All the time, all the time, someway

00:29:54

I’m beginning to feel like she has reached a tipping point here I’m beginning to feel like she has reached a tipping point here

00:30:04

You are, you are, here when I speak in tongues I’m beginning to feel

00:30:22

I’m be poking

00:30:23

I’m be poking I’m beginning to feel I’m depoted I’m depoted

00:30:25

I’m depoted

00:30:56

What we have to do is knock off this fantasy of being citizens inside a democratic state. I mean, what we are are the propagandized masses inside a fascist dictatorship.

00:31:02

inside a fascist dictatorship.

00:31:13

What people have to do is begin to form affinity groups,

00:31:19

get their own ship together, get their own goals defined,

00:31:22

and then move out into it and do it.

00:31:27

It’s not going to come from the policy council

00:31:30

of the Republican or Democratic

00:31:31

Party. That’s just silly

00:31:33

to think that. You know, looking back, I now see that I actually lost a very significant amount of my life

00:32:11

sitting in a cubicle doing something that today is of absolutely no value

00:32:16

to the future happiness and success of my grandchildren, their friends,

00:32:20

and the generations that are to follow.

00:32:23

Is that what you’re doing right now as well?

00:32:26

If so, you may want to spend a little of your precious time during the next three months

00:32:31

figuring out if you are actually on the correct path to achieve whatever destiny you came into

00:32:38

this life to achieve. And if you aren’t on the right path, are you just going to doggedly stick

00:32:44

to it for the rest of your life?

00:32:46

Or are you going to do something today to begin to change your life circumstances?

00:32:51

Now, I realize that this is easy to talk about, but I can tell you from personal experience

00:32:56

that changing the trajectory of your life is no easy matter, nor is it a trivial undertaking.

00:33:04

So, what is it that you actually came here to do?

00:33:08

Did you come here to create art, or did you come here to work at a mind-numbing job for a boss who’s a jerk and at a company that doesn’t treat you very well?

00:33:19

You know, I wasted the best years of my life doing, well, what most of my peers were also doing, working our way up the corporate ladder.

00:33:27

But take it from me, if at the end of your life the only thing you can point to is a cheesy plaque

00:33:34

thanking you for 30 years of faithful service, well, you’re not going to die a very fulfilled person.

00:33:41

Of course, I never made it much past 10 years in any so-called career that I’ve had,

00:33:48

but even 10 years with one company is way too much as I see it. So what am I getting at here,

00:33:55

you ask? Well, as I said in my introduction, the purpose of the worldwide wave of action

00:34:01

is to begin a period of change in the world. But this change must take

00:34:06

place in each of us as individuals before, well, before society as a whole is going to change as

00:34:13

well. For, as is obvious, a society can never be more wholesome than the individuals who comprise

00:34:19

it. And that goes for small groups of people as well, which, well, it means that you should be very careful

00:34:27

if you decide to be involved in group activities during this phase of the wave.

00:34:33

Please don’t let yourself get swept up in any kind of violence.

00:34:37

You know, during the first phase of the Occupy movement,

00:34:40

we saw several instances where crowds lost control

00:34:43

and turned to vandalism and other

00:34:46

destructive activities. But what has been uncovered since then is that in almost every one of those

00:34:52

instances, it was initially sparked by a government agent who provoked the situation and fired up the

00:34:58

crowd. So be very careful. You don’t have to be old enough to remember the FBI’s sting operation in the 60s,

00:35:06

COINTELPRO. Well, they never have stopped their infiltration of peaceful groups.

00:35:12

During even that simple-minded Bush kids presidency, the FBI, well, they even infiltrated

00:35:18

some anti-war Quaker groups. So be careful, very careful about any new friends you make should you become active in any

00:35:27

of the new social movements that are forming every day. This is a movement of movements, you know,

00:35:32

so be careful who you’re combining with. Make sure you know who they are and what their objectives

00:35:37

are. So, well, what should you do then if you don’t want to join into any group activities? Well,

00:35:44

Well, what should you do then if you don’t want to join into any group activities?

00:35:45

Well, that’s all up to you.

00:35:48

You know, there’s no right answer here.

00:35:52

One of the people that we just heard from said that more hackers,

00:35:55

white hat hackers, I should point out, are needed.

00:35:59

Well, just because you don’t write computer code doesn’t mean that you can’t be a hacker.

00:36:02

How about being a consciousness hacker? You know, isn’t that what you already are by being part of the psychedelic salon?

00:36:07

Psychedelic means mind manifesting.

00:36:10

Mind manifesting.

00:36:12

And to me, that involves hacking our consciousness.

00:36:15

But I always remember what Terrence once said about the thing that is most needed today,

00:36:21

and that is art.

00:36:23

I’ll play it for you right now again, just in case you’ve forgotten.

00:36:27

The politics of the situation here in this millennial crisis,

00:36:34

I think the reasonable response is to push the art pedal right through the floor.

00:36:40

The way to escape the present cul-de-sac is an enormous outbreak of creativity of all sorts.

00:36:50

We just need to overwhelm ourselves with creative expression.

00:36:56

And in case you think that art is only pretty colors on canvas,

00:37:01

well, please keep in mind that art can take uncountable number of forms. In fact,

00:37:07

your life is a work of art, whether you’re consciously creating it or not. Now, while my

00:37:13

art consists of mainly doing things with words, both written and spoken, well, right now I wish

00:37:19

that I’d paid more attention to music when I was younger, because, well, to me, music is the form of art that moves

00:37:26

me the most. And hopefully many of our fellow slauners will do something with music over these

00:37:31

next three months, and then let this new momentum carry you into the future, on the wings of whatever

00:37:37

art speaks most deeply to you. Even the so-called art of politics, if political change is going to be your focus.

00:37:54

Well, I’m going to close in just a second here, but after I sign off, I’m going to play a song that fellow salonner Dwayne Hoover sent to me the other day.

00:38:04

And I should have mentioned that in addition to his music, Dwayne also has a podcast that you can find at apocalypsculture.podbean.com, and I’ll put a link to that in the program

00:38:06

notes, which, as you know, you can get to via psychedelicsalon.us.

00:38:11

Anyway, Dwayne’s song is called Mushroom Man, and I find it a cool way to get our message

00:38:17

out to a wider audience and doing it through music.

00:38:20

So here’s a start at creating art for the wave of action. And if you let me know what you

00:38:26

are doing for the wave, I’ll try to mention it in a future wave podcast when I bring up events

00:38:31

from this new wave of consciousness that’s rippling around the globe. Oh, and my apologies

00:38:38

to Dwayne for having to squeeze his song down to a mono track for this podcast. The original sound

00:38:44

quality is much better than the version

00:38:46

that you’re going to hear right now, but I think you’ll enjoy it

00:38:49

in any event. So for now, this is Lorenzo

00:38:52

signing off from Cyberdelic Space.

00:38:55

Be well, my friends.

00:39:00

What I’ll do today is I assume most of you are not

00:39:04

familiar with my work, but I also assume you’re intelligent, so I’m not going to give an introductory talk. I’ll just cut to the chase. rides out spring the state of the storm the angel in the monkey

00:39:26

00:39:28

00:39:46

Everything that’s left will be forgotten again

00:39:50

Culture and ideology are not your friends

00:39:54

These are the words of the mushroom man

00:39:59

What is truth in the hands of nature?

00:40:05

Still the silent of two million cultures.

00:40:11

The content of the diamond and the other is a content that indicates that man’s horizons are infinitely bright,

00:40:32

that death is in fact, well, as Thomas Pond put it, the body is the placenta of the soul.

00:40:36

And this fact has not yet been assimilated.

00:40:40

Listen to my voice, my thoughts become yours.

00:40:44

You don’t run away, in the grave or for long.

00:40:48

You need to find the beauty before you pass on.

00:40:52

Make a map of heartless space and build your own dime.

00:40:56

Why not realize that nothing is lost?

00:41:02

The secret’s something that cannot be taught.

00:41:05

The cost for your sanity is alienation.

00:41:10

The golden path to everywhere

00:41:13

is your imagination,

00:41:18

your desperation,

00:41:24

your disillusion, your medication, your isolation.

00:41:34

Your isolation.

00:41:41

Your isolation.

00:41:45

You’re not a spirit The corpses of this society Are the only

00:41:46

00:41:47

This counts

00:41:58

Somehow it matters

00:42:01

There’ll be no education

00:42:04

In the new world order

00:42:06

This counts

00:42:08

Somehow it matters

00:42:11

You come from realms

00:42:13

Of unimaginable power

00:42:16

Up the end prospectus On the Ambrose Spectre

00:42:28

Come and be part

00:42:34

If you want to be Phoenix

00:42:38

Well here’s where you should start

00:42:44

The mushroom man is dead now

00:42:49

But all his stories live on

00:42:54

El Capucino

00:42:58

Sprinkle it into the sun

00:43:04

Sprinkle it into the sun Sprinkle it into the sun

00:43:09

The mushroom was incredibly ungenerous on this point.

00:43:14

It said, nobody knows jack shit about what is going on.

00:43:22

So it is for you with your body

00:43:26

as laboratory

00:43:27

and your mind

00:43:29

as worker

00:43:31

in that laboratory

00:43:33

to find a way to

00:43:35

reflux the alchemical

00:43:37

gold. The only experience

00:43:40

which counts

00:43:41

is your own experience.

00:43:44

Everything else is somehow handed down through social structures

00:43:48

and political structures. It’s irrelevant.

00:43:52

If flying saucers were to land on the south lawn of the White House tomorrow,

00:43:57

it would not matter to you as much as smoking DMT would if you did that tonight,

00:44:06

because that’s your experience, your conviction, you see.

00:44:11

And I believe that the rebirth of paganism, the rebirth of archaism,

00:44:18

the rebirth of psychedelic shamanism is coming at this moment,

00:44:29

psychedelic shamanism is coming at this moment because we are going to be involved in a historical meltdown which will be the equivalent of a species deep shamanic crisis in which as a

00:44:39

collectivity we are going to have to make the journey to the well of worlds and recover and cleanse the collective soul of humanity.

00:44:49

We have lost touch with our moral compass because we have lost touch with the guide of mind.

00:44:57

And this is not a method.

00:44:59

If you take these neurotransmitters, these exothermals that connect you up with the natural environment,

00:45:08

the guy in the hand becomes numb.

00:45:12

It’s an act of being.
